More About Rain Tally: Virtual Rain Gauge
Track rainfall in any location globally with Rain Tally, your virtual rain gauge! No account creation required. Rain Tally lets you log your personal rain gauge data, or never miss a day using up-to-date weather service data (requires a subscription). A+Weather subscription includes 3-day forecast precipitation amounts as well as past data back to mid-2021.
Track precipitation data for multiple locations - Use the weather service data to track rain amounts for gardens that might get different precipitation amounts from your home garden. Great for managing watering needs in community gardens! Manual logging is also supported for multiple locations.
Weekly Rainfall Target - Set a rainfall target and quickly see if the precipitation amount is above or below to determine if you need to irrigate your lawn or garden.
View Rainfall Summary Trends - Trend charts help you understand if you are experiencing a drought, or how far behind typical rainfall a garden is. This weather data analysis can show you info like a location’s cumulative rainfall per year, or in a moving window (for example what is the 30-day total rainfall for each day of the year).
Explore and Edit Historical Precipitation - View graphs and edit data for the weather service or your own logged rain gauge data.
Widgets - Customizable widgets let you see recent precipitation, or tap a widget to jump directly into the app in an edit view and log your daily rain gauge results. Create widgets for multiple locations.
