In this laboratory you will have a bottle with deionized water, a bottle with iron (II) nitrate, a bottle with potassium thiocyanate, a bottle with sodium hydroxide, two test tubes, a rack and four pipettors. The objective of the practice is to determine the amount of sodium hydroxide that can reduce the initially produced concentration of iron nitrate, potassium thiocyanate and water, in addition to finding the equilibrium constant of the reaction.
